We Have 2020 Vision!

In March 2019 a warrant article presented Barrington voters with the question of whether an approximately $4 million dollar 15 year bond (with an additional nearly $500,000 raised within the community) was acceptable. The majority but not > 60% said YES! “YES” from our community was a critical signal to not only to the library staff and its Trustees but to the Barrington Library Foundation (charged with funding the library and community center building project) to move ahead with renewed energy for a second warrant article in 2020. All working on this project have dedicated themselves to learning what we could from our previous 14 month’s work, to making adjustments in our building plans where possible and, most importantly, invigorating the users and supporters of the library to come out and vote on March 10, 2020.
